Job summary

NHS Blood and Transplant is seeking a friendly, customer-focused team member to support donors across the donation process. You’ll be the welcoming face, assist with the session, and help ensure a positive experience for every donor.

No healthcare background is required; training is provided, and the role involves some lifting and movement in a hands-on environment. A full UK driving licence is required with up to 6 penalty points.

Qualifications

• Experience dealing with the public
• Experience delivering quality customer service
• Willing to learn new technology and digital training
• Good numeracy and literacy

Responsibilities

• Greet donors and support them through the donation process
• Keep accurate records and handle blood products safely
• Assist with setting up sessions and driving equipment training
