Job summary

Adair Paxton is seeking a Property Manager to join our Block Management team in Horsforth. You will support the SLT in running the day-to-day management of a portfolio of properties, focusing on maintenance, budgets, and compliance.

The role requires experience in block or property management, a pro-active, can-do approach, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while delivering high-level service to leaseholders and contractors.

Qualifications

• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Excel and Word).
• Preference for prior block management experience, but open to general property/facilities management.
• A can-do, pro-active attitude is essential; must be good at multi-tasking and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing repairs and maintenance within blocks.
• Ensuring health and safety compliance and updating records.
• Managing service charge budgets and communal expenditures with the accounts team.
• Securing best value for money for leaseholders.
• Delivering high levels of customer service and liaising with contractors and leaseholders.
• Interpreting leases and supporting with insurance claims as needed.
• Chairing or supporting Annual General Meetings and site visits to ensure proactive management.
