Job summary

Brink’s in Glasgow is seeking a BIT Technician to join the IMAC Team - Branding and Installs. This permanent, full-time role is 40 hours over 5 days per week in Glasgow, installing and uplifting lobby ATMs per SOPs and schedules.

You will prepare/stage ATMs by loading software, refurbishing, configuring, testing and re-branding, and you’ll support branding across the UK. Travel and overnight stays may be required; strong fault-finding, IT skills and a clean driving licence are essential.

Job description

A position has become available within the IMAC Team - Branding and Installs for a Technician to be based in Glasgow. This is a permanent full-time role working 40 hours over 5 days a week. As a BIT Technician you will be expected to install and uplift all variants of lobby ATMs in line with SOPs and weekly updated schedules. You will also be preparing / staging your own ATMs by way of loading full software, refurbishing, configuring, testing and re-branding of uplifted ATM’s, so that they are ready to redeploy. As well as attending installs and uplifts for machines you will be responsible for maintaining and installing bespoke ATM branding on the estate of ATMs across the UK. The right candidate will need to communicate effectively with various internal departments, this is a customer facing role, so excellent customer service skills will be required. You will also be able to demonstrate accurate record keeping and time management, the ability to follow procedures, keep up to date stock records and usage. You should be comfortable working alone as well as being able to work as a team to complete tasks. A flexible approach to work, working hours and UK travel and overnight stays to meet the business needs may be required. Candidates with prior knowledge of ATMs and how to utilise internal programmes would be preferred.
