Job summary

NoteMachine is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join our field-based team in York. You will perform second-line repair and preventive maintenance on ATMs, using electro-mechanical skills, and work closely with customers to resolve issues and ensure on-time, in-full service.

You’ll drive a company van, enjoy a 4-on/4-off shift pattern, onboarding bonus up to £1,000, and a starting salary of £35,256 with additional performance bonuses.

Qualifications

• Field Service Engineering experience with electro-mechanical systems.
• Clear, confident communication & customer service skills.
• Willingness to travel and work weekends/holidays on rotation.
• A valid UK driving licence (max 6 points).

What You'll Do

• Perform second-line break-fix and preventive maintenance on our range of ATMs, including Triton, Wincor, and NCR machines.
• Collaborate with customers to identify and resolve technical issues to fit with their service requirements and enable on time in full machine provision.
• Provide excellent customer service, ensuring that all customers and stakeholders are treated with respect and professionalism
• Accurately document all service transactions and keep detailed records of any repairs or replacements performed
• Stay up-to-date with the latest product knowledge and industry trends through ongoing training and professional development
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure that all repairs and replacements meet company standards

What You’ll Need

• Field Service Engineering experience with electro-mechanical systems
• ATM experience is ideal but not essential
• A drive to deliver on your daily calls, and fix things right first time.
• A valid UK driving licence (max 6 active points)
• A methodical, problem-solving mindset
• Clear, confident communication & customer service skills
• Willingness to travel and work weekends/holidays on rotation
• No live or spent , IVAs, or bankruptcies in the last 10 years
