Job summary

Swissport at Birmingham Airport seeks an experienced TUI Airport Team Manager to lead and grow the joint operation. You will manage both airside and landside ground handling activities, drive performance against KPIs, and maintain strong relationships with TUI and internal teams.

Role requires adaptive leadership across shifts, financial planning, and strict adherence to safety and security standards. The position involves travel between Swissport sites as needed to support the partnership.

Qualifications

• Minimum of GCSEs (A-C) including English and Maths.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Travel between Swissport sites with overnight stays as required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the partnership with TUI at Birmingham Airport.
• Directly accountable for all areas of the TUI operation at Birmingham Airport on a day-to-day basis.
• Build effective relationships with service partners and monitor KPIs to ensure targets are met.
• Develop and implement operational plans to meet business targets and budgets.
• Lead incident recording, RCA processes, and operational improvements.
• Contribute to business plans and strategic initiatives with senior management.
