Envirotech Talent seeks an experienced Head of Manufacturing to lead manufacturing processes for advanced thermal components, transitioning from outsourced prototype work to scalable in-house production.

The role focuses on industrialising innovative products, establishing robust, repeatable processes, and shaping long-term production strategy while collaborating with engineering, suppliers and partners.

Qualifications

• Must understand manufacturing, joining, testing and QA techniques.
• Experience managing external suppliers and prototype programmes.
• Knowledge of process control and QA for additively manufactured components.
• Excellent organisational, communication and technical documentation skills.

Responsabilités

• Identify external manufacturing partners for prototypes using additive, powder-based, metal joining and precision machining.
• Plan and oversee mechanical, thermal and materials testing to validate processes.
• Assess manufacturing technologies for long-term scale-up.
• Develop quality assurance for in-house and external components, including inspection and NDT methods.
• Lead installation and operation of in-house manufacturing, assembly and inspection equipment.
• Develop Design for Manufacture guidelines and embed manufacturing in product development.
• Provide manufacturing feedback to improve designs and production efficiency.
• Drive continuous improvement for reliability, repeatability and traceability.
• Support planning and delivery of R&D projects and collaborations.
• Coordinate manufacturing activities, timelines and deliverables.
• Mentor junior engineers and grow the engineering team.
• Support development of new manufacturing technologies and capabilities.
