Job summary

AMP Clean Energy Group is seeking a Site Engineer to join its Industrial Biomass team. The role covers planned and reactive maintenance on biomass steam heating systems, including troubleshooting, installation, and repairs, with responsibilities spanning safety, reporting and asset care.

The candidate should have robust mechanical/electrical engineering credentials, BOAS boiler operator accreditation, and experience with biomass boilers in large industrial settings.

Qualifications

• Frontline mechanical and electrical maintenance experience
• Experience with heat and steam generating plant
• Boiler operation knowledge and biomass fuel familiarity
• Ability to read schematics and follow risk assessments
• CSCS/safety training and BOAS boiler operator accreditation

Responsibilities

• Undertake mechanical/electrical repairs as required
• Plan maintenance, attendance, testing, and records
• Ensure continuous operation, monitor meters and adjust levels
• Prepare detailed reports and HSEQ records
• Manage spare parts and stock; raise requisitions
• Coordinate with sub-contractors and permits on site
