Michael Page is representing a biomass facility near Chester seeking a Multi Skilled Engineer. The role covers fault finding, maintenance, and improvements of plant mechanical and electrical equipment in a fast-paced energy site.

You'll work with CMMS Maximo to keep accurate maintenance records, support outages, and supervise contractors. A recognised apprenticeship and NVQ level 3 or equivalent are required, with a competitive salary £50,000–£55,000 and a performance bonus.

Qualifikationen

• Recognised apprenticeship or equivalent training scheme.
• ONC/City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent.
• Experience in maintenance and repair of mechanical systems, including rotating equipment.
• Knowledge of conveyors, chain drives, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Experience with Permit-to-Work systems.

Aufgaben

• Fault finding and maintenance of plant mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Work with CMMS (Maximo) to assure accurate maintenance records.
• Lead commissioning activities and ensure required engineering documentation exists.
• Liaise with external vendors and supervise contractors, including some weekend work.
• Plan and carry out planned preventive maintenance to maximise plant availability.
• Adhere to Health, Safety and Environmental legislation at all times.
