Job summary

Myriad Heat and Power Products is currently seeking a Biomass Engineer to provide specialist support within our site service division. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing and repairing biomass boilers, operational support, and ensuring all work is compliant with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of commercial/industrial biomass boilers.
• Experience with fault finding and commissioning or servicing large biomass or machinery systems.
• Basic understanding of PLC control systems – updating software and adjusting parameters using HMI/controller.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, fault finding and repair of industrial, commercial & domestic biomass boilers.
• Carry out service and maintenance works associated to commercial biomass boilers.
• Comply with all Health & Safety policies and procedures.

Skills

Knowledge of commercial/industrial biomass boilers

Experience with servicing, fault finding and repair of industrial, commercial and domestic biomass boilers

Good customer skills and communication

IT skills – Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)

Basic plumbing/pipefitting skills

Electrical fault finding to board/component level

Education

Recognised mechanical or electrical qualification
