Job summary

Arup Midlands Bridges & Civil Structures team is seeking an Assistant BIM Technician to contribute to a range of bridge and infrastructure projects across highways, rail and transport sectors. You will help produce and coordinate BIM models, drawings and digital deliverables throughout all project stages.

You will work with industry-leading software and participate in model coordination, quality reviews and the delivery of high-quality technical information to help bring complex engineering

Qualifications

• ONC, HNC or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience producing BIM deliverables and technical drawings for civil infrastructure or bridge projects.
• Experience with AutoCAD and MicroStation; 3D modelling in Civil 3D, OpenBuildings, Revit or Tekla.
• Knowledge of BIM standards including ISO 19650 and quality assurance processes.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Produce and coordinate BIM models, drawings and digital deliverables across project stages from concept to construction.
• Coordinate model reviews and support clash detection and resolution.
• Deliver high-quality technical information and ensure consistency with BIM standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of digital delivery processes within the team.
