Engitech, a values-driven technology agency, seeks a BIM Technician to join our West Midlands team on a permanent basis. You will produce BIM 3D models and drawings, coordinate multidisciplinary work, and ensure models meet CAD standards and BEPs while supporting QA and data validation.

The ideal candidate has an engineering degree or HNC/HND, proven UK BIM experience, and strong knowledge of MicroStation, OpenBuildings Designer, and Revit.

Qualifikationen

• A HNC/HND or degree in an Engineering discipline.
• Proven experience as a BIM Technician or similar role within the UK construction industry.
• Strong working knowledge of Bentley MicroStation, OpenBuildings Designer, and preferably Autodesk Revit, Civil3D / Bentley OpenRoads.
• Understanding of ISO 19650 workflows and model coordination principles, and the importance of proper assurance process and content checking.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

We want to support Technicians in their development into professional qualifications, and give them the opportunity to be involved in validation of asset information, updating models based on construction quality records and assuring models using our automation tools.

Key Responsibilities:

Required Skills and Experience:

• A HNC/HND or degree in an Engineering discipline
• Proven experience as a BIM Technician or similar role within the UK construction industry
• Strong working knowledge of Bentley Microstation, Openbuilding Designer, and preferably additionally Autodesk Revit, Civil3D / Bentley OpenRoads
• Understanding of ISO 19650 workflows and model coordination principles, and the importance of proper assurance process and content checking
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and teamwork skills, and accommodating junior apprentice’s learning needs
