Job summary

Arup’s Bridge and Civil Structures team is seeking a skilled Engineering Technician to strengthen RC detailing across projects in the North West and Yorkshire. You’ll produce RC detailing, 2D drawings and 3D models from early design through construction, collaborating with engineers, technicians and BIM coordinators to ensure high‑quality outputs.

You will develop others, contribute to best practice networks and take advantage of training and feedback to grow professionally.

Qualifications

• Experience producing RC reinforcement drawings and 2D/3D models.
• Exposure to bridge and civil structures.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.
• BIM coordination experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop RC detailing, 2D drawings and 3D models across all project stages.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality outputs.
• Coordinate with BIM team and information management systems.
• Support development of junior technicians and promote best practices.
