Job summary

Balfour Beatty plc in Aberdeen is seeking a Document Controller for the Power Transmission & Distribution team, focusing on governance of BIM360 Docs and ensuring robust data and information flow between Balfour Beatty, client environments, and subcontractors.

Hybrid role: 3 days on site at Aberdeen office and 2 days from home. You will train project teams, support BIM360 rollouts, and maintain project documentation with the Information Manager, enabling compliant information exchanges.

Qualifications

• Experience using BIM360 Docs and BIM360 NextGen in projects.
• Ability to govern data exchanges across a common data environment.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and cross-team collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage project information plans and asset information plan.
• Set up projects in BIM360 NextGen (folders, users rights, workflows).
• Support BIM360 rollout and provide training to project teams and subcontractors.
• Assist Information Manager with BIM360 quality audits and reporting.
• Ensure reliable information exchange and compliance with data requirements.
