Job summary

Halfords in Bath is seeking a Cycle Technician to service and repair a wide range of cycles, from kids’ bikes to electric models, delivering market-leading standards of cycle service.

You’ll perform most service and repair work, support newer team members, and help customers choose the right bike. The role requires enthusiasm, reliability and a passion for great customer service, with training opportunities within the Group.

Qualifications

• Experience of service, building and repair across a range of cycles.
• Experience of delivering great customer service, ideally in a retail or cycle services environment.
• Experience of sharing expertise with others.
• Experience of working with - and achieving - sales targets.
• Availability to work on a rota basis, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Deliver cycle service and repair to a range of cycles including kids, adult, premium, performance and electric cycles.
• Carry out most of the service and repair work yourself and help develop other team members.
• Maintain high quality standards and assist customers in finding and maintaining their dream bike.
