Job summary

Steer is recruiting a Bid Coordinator to own opportunity sourcing, portal submissions, and tracker management across the UK. You will act as a central contact between consulting, finance and business development teams to clear backlogs and improve bidding processes.

You will monitor portals, triage opportunities, and drive timely, compliant submissions while maintaining live records and executive reports. The role combines organisation, communication and proactive problem-solving in a hybrid UK

Qualifications

• Degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, Transport/Infrastructure Planning or related field.
• Excellent record-keeping and data accuracy across multiple tracking systems.
• Clear written and verbal communication with senior stakeholders.
• Highly proactive with recurring workflows and deadlines.
• Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships.

Responsibilities

• Portal management and submission coordination across sourcing portals.
• Triaging, distributing opportunities to colleagues within 24 hours.
• Maintain data integrity across trackers and pipelines.
• Follow up on outcomes and resolve data discrepancies.
• Prepare weekly executive IBBM reports and PID logging.
• Capture client feedback and explore AI/automation tools to improve monitoring.
