Job summary

Steer seeks a proactive Bid Coordinator to own opportunity sourcing, portal submissions, and bid reporting. You will be the central contact between consulting, finance and business development to streamline processes and drive timely decisions.

Responsibilities include maintaining trackers, triaging opportunities, and ensuring data integrity across systems. The role emphasizes proactive communication and process improvements within a collaborative UK-based team.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, Transport/Infrastructure Planning or related field.
• Strong record-keeping with data accuracy across trackers/ERP systems.
• Clear written and verbal communication with senior stakeholders.
• Proactive ownership of recurring workflows and tight deadlines.
• Ability to identify bottlenecks and propose practical improvements.
• Experience coordinating across cross-functional teams and portals.

Responsibilities

• Maintain sourcing portals and coordinate timely, compliant proposals.
• Triage and distribute opportunities to colleagues within 24 hours.
• Keep Opportunities/EOI/PIN trackers accurate and up-to-date.
• Coordinate framework, renewals, and rebate tracking with Finance.
• Log proposals and PID data; prepare weekly executive reports.
• Capture client feedback and explore AI/automation to improve monitoring.
