Job summary

Steer is seeking a proactive Bid Coordinator to join our Bids Team in the UK. You will own opportunity sourcing, portal submission coordination, pipeline management, and reporting. The role requires strong organization, attention to detail, and confidence engaging with colleagues at all levels.

You will help ensure timely, accurate bid submissions and optimize processes, working across cross-functional teams with a mix of office and client-site days as part of a hybrid model.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, Transport/Infrastructure Planning, or a related field (required).
• Strong organisational skills with meticulous data accuracy across tracking systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for senior stakeholder engagement.
• Proactive in managing recurring workflows and data-driven decision support.
• Experience navigating cross-functional teams to improve bid processes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain sourcing portals and coordinate proposal submissions.
• Triage and distribute opportunities to consultants and Project Managers within 24 hours.
• Maintain data integrity across trackers and pipelines, and follow up on outcomes.
• Log proposals and PID via Agresso and prepare weekly executive reports.
• Capture client feedback, deliver internal training, and explore AI/automation to improve monitoring.
