Job summary

Veolia is seeking a proactive Bid Project Manager in London to lead bid development, coordinate the project team and ensure timely, compliant proposals that meet client needs.

You will craft technical, legal and financial solutions, manage presentations, and liaise with authorities while driving high-quality tender submissions.

Qualifications

• Previous bidding and/or business development experience.
• Strong writing skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Flexibility in regard to working hours.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work with minimal direct supervision.
• High level of confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Understand the client’s needs and requirements, key deliverables on the bid and any considerations for Veolia in the development of the bid.
• Work with the Business Development Manager and project team to develop solutions (technical, legal and financial aspects).
• Collaborate with operational and business support functions to ensure buy-in and development of robust proposals.
• Ensure tenders are submitted on time and align with client requirements.
• Write high-quality, detailed Method Statements detailing the bid’s technical solution.
• Manage preparation of presentations and attend client meetings, and oversee procurement process and project plan.
• Liaise with Local Authorities (clarification process).
• Lead on parts of the tender solution.
• Produce high-standard work in terms of accuracy and consistency.
• Provide other project management and general support for the department.

What you’ll be doing

What we’re looking for

We are looking for a well-organised individual with a very high standard of written English, strong IT ability with advanced level in Word, proficient use of Excel and PowerPoint and ideally familiar with Google Suite. We are looking for an ambitious individual that wishes to learn and progress within a high-performing Business Development team delivering profitable growth.
