Job summary

RGB Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Bid & Marketing Manager to join our growing team in Bristol/Trowbridge. You will combine creative marketing with strategic bid management to drive business growth, raise brand awareness and secure new opportunities.

The role covers bid preparation, marketing material development, website and social media management, campaign coordination, and supporting business development. A driving licence and own transport are desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience in bid management, marketing or business development.
• Proven ability to write bids, tenders and compelling proposals.
• Strong written communication, proofreading and presentation skills.
• Experience with digital marketing, social media and website platforms such as WordPress.

Responsibilities

BID & MARKETING MANAGER

Location: Bristol / Trowbridge

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

We are looking for an experienced and commercially minded Bid & Marketing Manager to join a growing business and play a key role in supporting its business development and marketing activities.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys combining creative marketing with strategic bid management, helping to drive business growth, raise brand awareness and secure new opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the preparation and submission of bids, tenders and proposals.
• Develop and maintain marketing materials and company branding.
• Manage website content, social media and digital marketing activity.
• Coordinate marketing campaigns, events and networking opportunities.
• Support business development activities and identify new opportunities.
• Manage company memberships and accreditations.
• Work closely with the Commercial Director to support wider business objectives.

What We're Looking For:

• Relevant experience in bid management, marketing or business development.
• Proven experience writing bids, tenders and compelling proposals.
• Strong written communication, proofreading and presentation skills.
• Experience with digital marketing, social media and website platforms such as WordPress.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Confident communication skills and a proactive, commercially focused approach.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant marketing tools.
