Job summary

Manpower is seeking an experienced Bid Manager for their Belfast office to lead bid programs across mechanical, electrical, energy, and renewable projects. You will manage the full bid lifecycle, coordinate with subject matter experts, and ensure timely, compelling submissions for public and private sector opportunities.

The role requires strong bid-writing skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to drive submissions under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full bid lifecycle from opportunity review to submission and mobilisation.
• Lead preparation and submission of public and private sector bids with full compliance to specifications.
• Produce clear, concise, persuasive bid content within deadlines.
• Review, edit and enhance existing bid materials for quality and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders to gather evidence and supporting documentation.
• Ensure submissions comply with tender instructions and evaluation criteria.
• Prepare materials for bid presentations and interviews.
• Maintain and improve the bid library with case studies and CVs with marketing team.
• Provide guidance to colleagues to develop bid-writing capabilities.
