Job summary

Manpower is seeking an experienced Bid Manager to join our Belfast office, with occasional travel to Portadown. You will manage bids across mechanical, electrical, energy, and renewables projects, delivering high-quality submissions for public and private sectors.

The role requires strong bid management and writing skills, ability to meet tight deadlines, and collaboration with stakeholders to compile evidence and documentation. A full UK driving licence is essential.

• Proven experience in public sector bid management.
• Proven experience in public sector bid writing.
• Excellent time management skills under deadlines.
• Strong organisational skills with accountability and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full bid lifecycle from opportunity review to submission.
• Lead the preparation and submission of public and private sector bids.
• Produce clear, concise bid content within deadlines.
• Review and enhance existing bid materials for quality.
• Collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders for evidence and documentation.
• Ensure submissions comply with tender instructions and criteria.
• Prepare materials for bid presentations and interviews.
• Maintain and improve the bid library with marketing.
• Provide guidance to colleagues to develop bid-writing capabilities.
