Job summary

Manpower is seeking an experienced Bid Manager for our Belfast office, with occasional travel to Portadown. The role oversees the full bid lifecycle for mechanical, electrical, energy, and renewables projects, delivering high-quality submissions for public and private sector opportunities.

The ideal candidate has proven bid management and writing experience, strong deadlines discipline, and excellent communication skills to collaborate with SMEs and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage full bid lifecycle from opportunity review to submission and mobilisation.
• Lead preparation and submission of public and private sector bids with full compliance to client specs.
• Produce clear, concise bid content under strict deadlines.
• Review, edit and enhance bid materials for quality and impact.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather evidence and documentation.
• Ensure submissions comply with tender instructions and evaluation criteria.
• Prepare materials for bid presentations and interviews.
• Maintain bid library with case studies, project profiles and CVs with Marketing.
• Provide guidance to peers to develop bid-writing capabilities.
