Job summary

Matchtech is seeking a Bid Co-ordinator / Manager in Portsmouth with hybrid working arrangements (2-3 days on site). The role centers on governance, compliance, process management, and bid coordination to ensure timely, compliant submissions across complex defence and technology programmes.

You will work with Capture Leads and multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring all stakeholders stay aligned and bid activities progress through established governance and approvals.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent professional experience is required.
• Experience in governance, compliance and bid processes.
• Ability to coordinate multiple workstreams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage governance and compliance for the bid lifecycle.
• Develop bid management plans, schedules and review processes.
• Ensure bids pass internal approvals and delegated authority checks.
• Coordinate bid activities across functions and keep stakeholders informed.
• Schedule and oversee bid reviews ensuring timely completion of actions.
• Tailor bid processes to size and complexity of opportunities.
• Manage resources, budgets and timelines for bid delivery.
• Support security, export controls and business approval requirements.
• Interface between leadership, commercial, technical and operations to expedite decisions.
• Coordinate costing and pricing activities with commercial strategy.
• Drive governance adherence and streamline internal processes.
