Job summary

East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust is recruiting a BI Analyst to join the expanding Business Intelligence team. You will work with clinical and operational data, developing analytics to inform decisions and supporting statutory NHS reporting.

The role offers training, development opportunities, and a flexible agile/home working model across BI services. You will gain experience with NHS data, SQL, ETL (SSIS/SSAS), and data visualization tools.

Qualifications

• Good general education including GCSEs (English & Maths).
• Experience deriving key messages from large data sets for reporting.

Responsibilities

• Assist Senior Analysts by extracting data and populating templates for established reports for managers and external bodies.
• Support statutory and internal reporting deadlines with daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly processes.
• Develop and maintain data sources to create standard information for users of the service.
