Job summary

Worley Consulting in Europe seeks a Renewable Energy Engineer (European-based) to join its Power and New Energy team. The role focuses on Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and Solar PV projects across Europe, with exposure to feasibility, design, owner's engineering and due diligence.

The successful candidate will contribute to technical assessments, tender support and grid studies, working with multidisciplinary experts in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Several years of experience in renewable energy projects.
• Experience in Solar PV and/or BESS projects.
• Wind projects experience is desirable but not required.
• Basic understanding of electrical power systems and grid connections.
• Familiarity with renewable energy project development processes.

Responsibilities

• Conceptual design of utility-scale BESS and Solar PV projects.
• Develop Basis of Design documents.
• Perform technical due diligence for renewable projects.
• Review EPC contractor and OEM technical docs.
• Conduct grid connection assessments and development studies.
• Prepare technical specifications and tender docs.
• Perform energy yield and performance assessments.
• Support feasibility studies and business development.
