Fichtner Consulting Engineers Ltd is expanding its renewables team and recruiting a consulting engineer with battery storage experience to be based at Stockport. The role involves working with developers, investors and asset owners through the project lifecycle, from due diligence to testing and commissioning.

Ideal candidates will have a postgraduate degree in electrical, mechanical or renewables, plus consultancy or project management experience on battery storage or related renewables

Qualifikationen

• Good electrical, mechanical or renewables-based postgraduate degree.
• Technical consultancy/project management experience in battery storage projects (development/construction/operations).
• Experience producing feasibility studies and design reviews.
• Experience in financing renewable energy projects, including technical due diligence exposure.

Aufgaben

• Lead/assist technical workstreams across the project lifecycle (development, procurement, construction, commissioning and testing).
• Possibly manage construction and delivery of large, complex BESS projects.
• Travel within the UK and EU for client meetings, site visits and tests.
• Interpret electrical drawings, models, specifications and functional descriptions to support project delivery.
• Prepare high-quality technical reports and client models.
