Job summary

Worley Consulting, the consulting arm of Worley, seeks a Renewable Energy Engineer (European based) to join our Power and New Energy team delivering advisory and engineering services for BESS and Solar PV projects across Europe and beyond.

You will work with experienced consultants to contribute to feasibility studies, owner's engineering, technical due diligence, and engineering support through the project lifecycle, thriving in a multidisciplinary, multicultural environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Several years of experience in renewable energy projects.
• Experience in Solar PV and/or BESS projects.
• Wind projects experience is desirable but not required.
• Basic understanding of electrical power systems and grid connections.
• Familiarity with renewable energy project development processes.

Responsibilities

• Conceptual design of utility-scale BESS and Solar PV projects.
• Development of Basis of Design documents.
• Technical due diligence assignments for renewable energy projects.
• Review of EPC contractor and OEM technical documentation.
• Grid connection assessments and renewable project development studies.
• Support preparation of technical specifications and tender documentation.
• Energy yield and performance assessments.
• Support feasibility and pre-feasibility studies.
• Support business development and proposal preparation activities.
