Job summary
Worley Consulting is seeking a Renewable Energy and Power Systems Engineer (Europe based) to lead technical workstreams on Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), Solar PV and hybrid projects. You will support electrical integration and grid connection studies across a growing European team.
The role combines renewable energy engineering expertise with power system modelling, offering international exposure and opportunities for professional growth within Worley’s Power and New Energy practice.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Senior level consulting experience in energy sector.
- Proven experience in BESS and Solar PV projects.
- Exposure to hybrid renewable energy systems.
- Understanding of transmission and distribution networks.
- Experience supporting grid integration activities.
Responsibilities
- Technical leadership of feasibility and conceptual studies.
- Conceptual design of BESS, Solar PV and Hybrid Projects.
- Grid connection studies and interconnection assessments.
- Owner's Engineering and Independent Engineering assignments.
- Technical Due Diligence for lenders and investors.
- Preparation of technical specifications and employer requirements.
- Evaluation of OEM and EPC technical proposals.
- Support power system studies and grid compliance assessments.
- Support proposal development and client engagement activities.
