The role involves collaboration with coroners, mortuary staff, and funeral directors to ensure respectful, compliant handling of deaths.

Responsibilities include coordinating documentation, informing GPs and families, and supporting the Bereavement Services Manager with daily operations.

Responsabilidades

• Provide expert advice to medical and managerial staff on death administrative procedures.
• Coordinate completion of documentation after death.
• Inform bereaved relatives about death registration procedures and community support.
• Assist with release of bodies from mortuary and liaison with funeral directors.
• Support the Bereavement Services Manager in daily operations and reporting.
• Monitor cases referred to the Coroner and manage repatriation requirements.
