Job description

Job Title: Benefits Advisor

My client is a leading and award-winning law firm seeking to recruit a Benefits Advisor to join their HR team on a permanent basis.

The Benefits Advisor will support the development and delivery of the firm's compensation and benefits offerings. This role is crucial in conducting global benefit reviews, benchmarking, recognition programs, pension schemes, and health and wellbeing initiatives. The position reports to the Reward and Benefits Manager and involves a wide range of responsibilities.

Key Duties:
  1. Manage all UK and international benefits processes daily.
  2. Coordinate and oversee the benefits enrollment process.
  3. Maintain and update benefits records and documentation.
  4. Analyze and improve benefit administration processes, including the deployment of flexible benefits platforms.
  5. Contribute to reward-related projects and develop reporting MI, primarily using Excel, to support firm-wide decision-making.
  6. Negotiate coverage terms and costs with insurance brokers and benefits carriers.
  7. Maintain strong relationships with the HR team to address benefit-related queries and with the Reward and Benefits team to develop cohesive strategies.
  8. Monitor competitors' benefit strategies to ensure the firm's offerings remain competitive and aligned with market standards.
  9. Stay informed on benefits trends and legislation affecting the firm.
  10. Communicate benefits information effectively to employees.
  11. Provide training and support on benefits-related matters to the HR team.
  12. Assist in managing the benefits budget, including participation in the annual budgeting process with the Finance team.
Candidate Requirements:

The ideal candidate will be CIPD qualified with previous benefits experience in a professional services environment. They should be proficient in PC programs and HR systems, demonstrate excellent attention to detail, and possess a strong sense of urgency. Additionally, candidates should have solid data analysis and reporting skills, with the ability to manipulate and present data effectively to senior stakeholders.
