Human Resources - Benefits Specialist - EMEA

We have an exciting opportunity to join the EMEA Benefits team, supporting over 6,000 employees across 44 countries. Based in London, you will drive the benefits agenda, managing programs including Retirement, Health & Welfare, and Wellness initiatives. Responsibilities include managing benefits vendors, handling escalations, internal communications, and collaborating with Procurement on contracts and invoices. You will also analyze benefit plan designs and work with HR, Benefits Operations, and Payroll teams on policies.

Building relationships is key at Bloomberg. As part of the Global Benefits team, you will collaborate with colleagues across the Americas and APAC on global initiatives affecting over 20,000 employees in 73+ countries. Strong communication skills are essential in this fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Driving plan design improvements through financial and impact reviews and benchmarking
  • Ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations
  • Reviewing and improving operational and administrative processes
  • Analyzing utilization reports and trends to recommend improvements
  • Serving as a point of contact for complex benefits questions
  • Implementing new plans, programs, policies, and designs
  • Managing relationships with external vendors and providers
  • Staying informed on benefits legislation and industry standards
  • Communicating benefits programs and updates internally
  • Maintaining benefits information on internal portals

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 7 years in Benefits administration and advisory, with 2-3 years in a corporate setting
  • Knowledge of benefits programs and regulations in the UK and EMEA regions
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience with innovative benefits design and project management
  • Ability to adapt to regulatory changes
  • Effective communication skills, attention to detail, and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
  • Strong analytical skills and data accuracy focus
  • Customer service orientation and flexibility

Preferred:

  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of analysis and reporting tools
  • Experience in collaborative environments
