Job summary

Popeyes UK&I is seeking a Bench General Manager to own a busy restaurant footprint across Sheffield, Nottingham and Lincoln. You will drive top‑line results, people development and brand standards in a fast‑paced operation.

As a proven operator, you’ll lead safety, service speed, quality, and guest experience while managing P&L, labor and stock. The role offers a comprehensive benefits package and a clear path through Popeyes University for development.

Qualifications

• Experience as GM in branded, high-volume QSR or fast-casual restaurant.
• Ability to deliver quality, safety and cleanliness standards at all times.
• Track record of hitting sales targets, managing P&L, and controlling costs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with food safety (HACCP), health & safety, and employment legislation.
• Full accountability for restaurant performance, inc P&L, sales, labour, food cost, audit and brand standards.
• Support and develop your team to grow their careers and unleash their potential.
• Deliver Popeyes' food quality, speed of service, and guest experience standards.
• Own recruitment, development plans, and succession planning for your site.
• Control stock, inventory, ordering, and waste to target.
• Build rotas that balance availability, labour budgets, and peak trade.
• Review performance data to identify opportunities and take action.
• Bring the Fun and keep the energy high, the service smooth, and the culture poppin’

We are on the look out for a Bench General Manager with flexibility across Sheffield, Nottingham + Lincoln. We’re on the lookout for experienced Restaurant General Managers who can take full ownership for their restaurant. You’ll be a proven operator within a fast-paced restaurant, able to motivate your teams to deliver high standards and great metrics across people, sales, profit, and guest experience.

What you’ll bring to the table:

• Proven experience as a General Manager in a branded, high-volume QSR or fast-casual restaurant
• Ability to deliver quality, safety and cleanliness standards at all time
• Track record of hitting sales targets, managing P&L, and controlling costs
• Experience with labour scheduling, stock management, and inventory systems
• Strong people leadership, you've built teams and developed future talent
• Experience in new-site openings or multi-site environments is beneficial
• The ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
