Job summary

Veritas Education Recruitment is urgently seeking a Behaviour Support Worker for a SEMH school in Orpington. The role runs on a daily rate of £110–£125 and starts September.

You will support pupils 1:1 and in small groups, de-escalate challenging behaviour, and work closely with teaching and pastoral teams to help students re-engage with education. Experience with SEMH, PRU, youth work or similar, plus strong behaviour management and a calm, proactive approach are essential.

We're working with a specialist SEMH school (Primary through Secondary) in Orpington that is urgently looking for a confident, resilient Behaviour Support Workers to join their team.

If you have experience working with challenging behaviour and want to make a genuine impact as a Behaviour Support Worker, this is a fantastic opportunity where no two days are the same.

What you'll be doing as a Behaviour Support Worker:

• Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups
• Managing and de-escalating challenging behaviour
• Working closely with teaching and pastoral teams
• Helping students re-engage with education
