Empowering Learning are seeking Behaviour Support Workers/Teaching Assistants for a Primary and Secondary Special Needs School in Harrogate. Roles are temp to perm, starting September, with pay £100-£110 per day and hours 8.30am–3.30pm, Monday to Friday.
Supports include pupils with autism and challenging behaviours; you may work 1:1 or in small groups, assisting with daily tasks and IEPs under the lead teacher. This is on-site school-based work in Harrogate.

You will be involved in classroom duties and off-site recreational activities.
This position requires a compassionate individual who is dedicated to supporting the educational needs of students. The teaching assistant will work closely with the lead teacher to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment. Experience working with children, particularly those with special needs, is essential. Strong communication skills are also important for effectively collaborating with students, parents, and colleagues. The ability to adapt to different situations and handle challenging behaviours is crucial.
