Salary: £460 – £600 per week (depending on experience and qualifications)

Are you passionate about supporting young people with additional needs and helping them feel confident in the classroom? A supportive SEN setting in Sheffield S5 is looking for a patient and committed Behaviour Support professional to join their team.

About the Role:

As a Behaviour Support (SEN), you will provide tailored support to pupils who may need additional help with behaviour, emotional regulation and engagement in learning. You will work closely with teaching staff to maintain clear routines, encourage positive choices and help pupils manage challenges throughout the school day.

The role will involve supporting individuals and small groups, helping pupils access lessons and responding calmly when additional behavioural support is needed. Your consistency and understanding can make a real difference to pupils' day-to-day experience at school.

This inclusive SEN setting provides a structured and supportive environment for pupils with a range of additional needs. Staff work closely together to promote positive behaviour, emotional wellbeing and learning, with a strong focus on helping each pupil make progress at their own pace.

A genuine commitment to supporting pupils with additional needs.

Experience in education, care, pastoral support or behaviour support is advantageous.

To work with GSL Education as a Behaviour Support (SEN), you should:

Have the right to work in the UK.

Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last two years.

Have an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
