As a Behaviour Support Officer, you will play a key role in improving students' behaviour, achievement and self-esteem by delivering targeted pastoral and behaviour interventions. Working alongside teachers, pastoral leaders and families, you will help students overcome barriers to learning, promote positive behaviour and contribute to a safe, inclusive learning environment.
You will draw upon your understanding of child development and the impact of home and school factors on students' motivation, attitudes and performance. You may also provide emergency classroom cover for teaching staff when required, ensuring learning continues with minimal disruption.
