Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Behaviour Specialist is essential.
• Experience in secondary schools or PRUs and SEND/SEMH settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated support to pupils outside of the classroom
• Work with pupils one-to-one and in small groups
• Support pupils who are struggling to engage with mainstream lessons
• Build positive relationships with young people
• Help pupils develop strategies to manage behaviour and emotions
• Supporting the successful reintegration of pupils back into lessons where appropriate
• Managing challenging situations calmly and effectively
• Working alongside teaching staff, pastoral teams and senior leaders
• Encouraging positive behaviour, engagement and attendance
