Job summary

Teaching Personnel Ltd. is seeking an experienced Behaviour Specialist for a full-time role at a secondary school in Burnley. The role focuses on supporting pupils outside of the mainstream classroom, helping them manage behaviour, re-engage with education and progress

You will work 1:1 and in small groups with pupils, build positive relationships, and assist with strategies to maintain engagement and successful reintegration into lessons. Relevant safeguarding checks are required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in behaviour support or inclusion settings.
• Strong behaviour management and rapport-building skills.
• Willingness to undergo safeguarding checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated support to pupils outside the classroom
• Work 1:1 and in small groups
• Help pupils engage with mainstream lessons
• Build positive relationships with pupils
• Support reintegration into lessons where appropriate
• Assist teaching and pastoral staff with behaviour strategies
