Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a confident and proactive Behaviour Mentor Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the Stockport area from September 2026. This full-time role will primarily involve providing 1:1 behavioural support to pupils in KS1, while also working across other year groups to promote positive behaviour, engagement and inclusion.

• Experience supporting children with behavioural, SEMH or SEND needs in a primary school.
• Confident delivering 1:1 behaviour support and adapting to different year groups.
• Strong behaviour management skills and ability to build positive relationships.
• Team Teach qualification (desirable).
