Job summary

Teaching Personnel are looking for a Behaviour Support Mentor to join a welcoming secondary school in Trafford Park, Greater Manchester. This full-time role offers a daily rate of about £95 and is conveniently located near public transport with staff parking available.

You will deliver targeted interventions to help KS3/KS4 students improve behavioural skills, working closely with the teacher and SENCO to foster a safe, inclusive learning environment and to support student well-being.

Qualifications

• Experience with KS3/KS4 in a similar role.
• Knowledge of behaviour management techniques.
• Empathetic, patient and resilient attitude.
• Training in behaviour management or TA qualifications beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver targeted interventions to improve behavioural skills.
• Provide 1:1 support for students with emotional challenges.
• Support development of individual behaviour plans.
• Collaborate with classroom teacher and SENCO to foster a safe learning environment.
• Build strong relationships and maintain positive learning spaces.
