Job summary

Protocol Education Ltd. is recruiting a confident and caring Behaviour Mentor to support pupils who need extra help to thrive in a friendly Frampton Cotterell primary school.

You will work one-to-one with children and in small groups to build confidence, develop positive behaviours and maximise learning. You will collaborate with teachers and the SEND team to create a calm, supportive environment and help pupils reach their potential, with a focus on consistency and relationship-building with

• Experience working with children or young people with SEMH or behavioural needs.
• Calm, patient and resilient approach.
• Strong relationship-building skills.
• Experience in schools or similar settings welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Delivering small group behaviour and emotional wellbeing interventions.
• Supporting pupils to stay engaged in learning.
• Promoting positive behaviour and emotional regulation; working alongside teachers and SEND staff to provide consistent support.
• Building positive relationships with pupils and their families where appropriate.

We're working with a friendly primary school in Frampton Cotterellthat's looking for a confident and caring Behaviour Mentor to support pupils who need a little extra help to thrive in school.

You'll work with children on a one-to-one basis and in small group interventions, helping them build confidence, develop positive behaviours, and get the most from their learning. You'll work closely with teachers and the wider school team to create a calm, supportive environment where every child has the chance to succeed.

What we're looking for:

• Experience working with children or young people with SEMH or behavioural needs
• A calm, patient and resilient approach
• Strong relationship-building skills
• A genuine passion for supporting pupils to reach their potential
• Experience in schools, alternative provisions, youth work, care, coaching or mentoring is welcomed

The role includes:
