Job summary

Engage Education is seeking a Behaviour Mentor for a SEND/PRU school in Tower Hamlets. You will support pupils on a one-to-one basis or in small groups and work with staff to keep disruption to a minimum while engaging learners in the national curriculum.

DBS check is required and full assistance will be provided. Ideal candidates are outgoing, enthusiastic, proactive and capable of building strong relationships with pupils.

Qualifications

• Outgoing and mentoring manner.
• Enthusiastic and passionate about helping children reach their full potential.
• Think on your feet and be proactive in a dynamic school setting.
• Ability to form excellent relationships and rapport with pupils.

Responsibilities

• Support on a one-to-one basis or in small groups.
• Work with other support staff to engage pupils in class and minimise disruption.
• Provide feedback to teachers and parents.
• Assist pupils with Autism, SEMH, ADHD, Severe Learning Difficulties and other Learning Disabilities.
