Timeplan Education is recruiting an experienced Behaviour Mentor for a specialist SEMH school in North London/Enfield. You will support secondary pupils with SEMH needs, providing 1:1 and small-group support, building strong relationships, and applying positive behaviour strategies.
The role involves working with pupils with EHCPs, collaborating with teachers, and promoting emotional regulation and social skills in a supportive, safeguarding-focused environment.

We are currently recruiting an experienced and resilient Behaviour Mentor to join a specialist SEMH school in Enfield, supporting secondary-aged pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.
The pupils all have Education, Health and Care Plans with SEMH as their primary area of need.
As a Behaviour Mentor, you will play an important role in helping pupils to regulate their emotions, manage their behaviour, engage positively with education and develop stronger relationships with both staff and peers.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young people who may have experienced barriers to education and require a consistent, patient and positive adult presence.
We are looking for someone who is:
Previous experience working within SEMH schools, PRUs, Alternative Provisions, youth work, mentoring, residential care, SEND, mental health or behaviour support would be highly desirable.
You will have the opportunity to make a genuine difference to young people's lives by helping them develop the emotional regulation, confidence, resilience and coping strategies they need to successfully engage with education and prepare for adulthood.
