Job summary

Remedy Education is hiring a Behaviour Mentor (SEMH) in Enfield. This long-term, full-time role offers a daily rate of £100–£130 and runs 8:30am–3:45pm, with a focus on supporting pupils with SEMH through 1:1 and small group work within a welcoming SEMH primary school.

You will work with IBPs, collaborate with teachers and pastoral staff, and contribute to progress and behaviour reports while maintaining a calm, empathetic approach. Immediate start is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in a primary or SEN school setting.
• Background supporting children with SEMH or behavioural challenges.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).

Responsibilities

• Providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEMH needs.
• Supporting students with Individual Behaviour Plans (IBPs).
• Using a calm, child-centred approach to manage challenging behaviour.
• Creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom experience.
• Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and the pastoral team.
• Tracking pupil progress and contributing to behaviour reports.
