Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor for a secondary school in Radcliffe. You will provide 1:1 and small-group mentoring to pupils needing behaviour support and help them engage with school life.

The role focuses on emotional regulation, de-escalation, and building resilience, with collaboration across staff. Experience in SEMH settings is advantageous and the position is based in Radcliffe.

Behaviour Mentor - Radcliffe £105 - £110 per day | 8:30am - 3:45pm | Secondary School | Tradewind Recruitment

Are you passionate about supporting young people to overcome barriers, develop positive behaviours and reach their full potential? Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for a dedicated and resilient Behaviour Mentor to join a supportive secondary school in Radcliffe. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience working with young people who may struggle with behaviour, emotional regulation, engagement or social challenges.

The Role

As a Behaviour Mentor, you will work closely with pupils who require additional support to manage their behaviour and engage positively with school life.

• Providing 1:1 and small-group mentoring and support
• Building positive, trusting relationships with pupils
• Supporting students to regulate their emotions and manage challenging situations
• Helping pupils understand and make positive changes to their behaviour
• Encouraging engagement with learning and improving attendance
• Supporting pupils who may be at risk of disengaging from education
• Working alongside teachers, pastoral staff and the wider school team
• Helping pupils develop confidence, resilience and independence
• De-escalating challenging situations in a calm and professional manner
• Promoting positive behaviour and maintaining clear boundaries
