Job summary

Aspire People are seeking experienced Behaviour Mentors to support pupils with SEMH and behavioural needs across schools, alternative provisions and specialist settings. The role involves 1:1 and small-group support, mentoring and targeted interventions to re-engage learners with education.

Ideal candidates will have experience in alternative provision or PRUs and a strong understanding of emotional regulation, boundaries and relationship-building with pupils and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in alternative provision, PRUs or specialist settings.
• Professional experience supporting pupils with SEMH or challenging behaviour.
• Calmly manage challenging situations and maintain boundaries.
• Strong understanding of behaviour and emotional regulation.
• Resilient, patient and adaptable approach.
• Able to establish clear boundaries while building positive relationships.
• Previous 1:1 support experience is desirable.

Aspire People are looking for experienced Behaviour Mentors to support pupils with SEMH and behavioural needs across schools, alternative provisions and specialist settings.

This role is particularly suited to candidates who have already worked with young people who have struggled to engage with mainstream education and understand the importance of consistency, boundaries and positive relationships.

The Role:

• Providing 1:1 and small-group support
• Supporting pupils with SEMH and behavioural needs

• Able to establish clear boundaries while building positive relationships
• Previous 1:1 support experience is highly desirable
