Are you a resilient and committed Behaviour Mentor looking to support young people who face significant barriers to education? Do you have the confidence and patience to work with students with challenging behaviours and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? This PRU in Walsall is looking to appoint a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to support Key Stage 3 and 4 students within a structured and supportive environment.
As a Behaviour Mentor, you will work closely with students both in and out of the classroom, providing 1-2-1 and small group support to help them manage behaviour, regulate emotions and re-engage with learning. You will build positive and trusting relationships with pupils, acting as a consistent role model and supporting them to achieve positive outcomes.
This is a rewarding and hands‑on role that requires patience, resilience and strong behaviour management skills. You will work closely with teachers, pastoral staff and support teams to ensure pupils receive the guidance and consistency they need to succeed.
