Teaching Personnel is seeking a Behaviour Intervention Assistant to support pupils aged KS2-KS4 with SEMH needs. You will promote positive behaviour, encourage engagement, and help students develop emotional regulation and key life skills in a small-class setting.
You will work closely with teachers, SEN teams, and pastoral staff to implement behaviour plans, de-escalate incidents, monitor progress, and provide support during breaks and transitions across the school day.
This specialist provision caters for pupils aged KS2-KS4 who present with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and associated behavioural challenges. Many students have experienced barriers to learning such as disrupted education, trauma, or difficulties engaging in mainstream environments.
The setting offers a highly supportive, structured, and nurturing environment, with small class sizes and a strong emphasis on pastoral care, emotional development, and re-engagement with learning. Staff work closely together to create a safe and consistent environment where students can thrive.
