Job summary

Qualiteach Education Group Ltd seeks a dedicated Behaviour Mentor for a Croydon secondary setting. The role is full-time with an immediate start, offering £100-£120 a day depending on experience.

You will work with pupils aged 11-16, supporting behavioural interventions and collaborating with teaching staff, pastoral teams and SEND to deliver targeted 1:1 and small-group support.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with behavioural or SEMH needs.
• Experience working in a secondary school, PRU or alternative provision.
• Confidence with behaviour management and de-escalation strategies.
• Full-time availability ASAP.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils aged 11-16 requiring additional behavioural intervention.
• Collaborate with teaching staff, pastoral teams and SEND department to provide targeted 1:1 and small-group support.
• Implement behaviour support plans.
• Use de-escalation techniques and promote emotional regulation.
• Help pupils remain engaged with their learning.
• Act as a positive role model, encouraging attendance, resilience and positive behaviour throughout the school day.
