Job summary

The Grange School in Christchurch, part of Twynham Learning, seeks a dedicated Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our supportive team for term-time and permanent work. You’ll help maintain a calm, respectful learning environment and assist students in reflecting on choices to re-engage with learning.

Reporting to the Behaviour Intervention and Inclusion Manager, you will support the Learn and Behave room, on-call/detention processes, monitor incidents, analyse data, and uphold

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 GCSEs A*-C including English and Maths.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Outlook).
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare.

Responsibilities

• Support the Learn and Behave room to create a focused learning space.
• Assist with on-call and centralised detention systems and supervision.
• Monitor behaviour incidents, truancy and safeguarding concerns.
• Track and analyse behaviour data to inform decisions and reduce suspensions.
• Promote consistent behaviour management practices and pupil welfare.
